Dear Fellow Rotarians in Hong Kong, RI District 3450,

To promote a spirit of volunteerism among the family of Rotary, District Community Service Committee (RCSC) would like to join the Hong Kong Volunteer Award (Non-Commercial Organization Award) (HKV-Award), jointly organized by the HKSAR Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and Agency of Volunteer Service.

The HKV-Award is dedicated to recognizing the contributions and achievements of outstanding volunteers and teams, young people, corporations, organizations from various sectors, etc. The HKV-Award aims to inspire more people, particularly young people, people over 50, and first-time volunteers, to participate in volunteering and to unite the power of the community in building a caring and inclusive society.

As such, RCSC will submit “Volunteer Hours by Events” in accordance with the submission of such data from the Clubs in 2024-25 via the Impact Database. For the other submission on “Volunteer Hours by Individual“, we appeal for Rotarians in Hong Kong to submit individual volunteer hours (both Rotary and non-Rotary) contributed from 1 Jan 2024 to 31 Dec 2024 via the online form by 25 August 2025.

We shall compile and submit all the data to the organizing committee of the HKV-Award for all Rotarians in Hong Kong in one go. If you choose to submit on your own or via other agencies to the HKV-Award, please don’t fill in the form so as not to duplicate your entry.
